What kind of food items do you think makes up a healthy lunch box? And can you draw it?

To encourage all of us to eat more healthily, and in conjunction with Healthy Eating Week, we're asking all you budding artists to send us your design of a healthy lunchbox, perhaps with a slogal as well, for instance "Healthy Food Inside!"  or perhaps you could come up with your own slogan.   There's a fantastic prize of a lunchbox plus water bottle for one winner from each class.

The competition closes on the 9th February, 2007, so please make sure you get your entries to Mrs Taylor by the 9th.  The competition will be judged over half term and the winner will be announced week commencing 19th February.

Details and entry forms went out in book baga on 22nd January. Or ask a teacher.

Notes for Parents:

In a recent UK government survey, the contents of 74% of lunch boxes for kids were below the nutritional standards set for school meals. Why don't you do an online questionnaire to see how healthy you diet is. Simply click the link below (Note: this takes you to a different website with no  connection to Balfour Infant School.
