I was a pupil at Balfour Infants School twenty nine years ago. (1979 -1982) It was lovely to see your website and photo's of the school as it is today. It brought back some wonderful memories. I was also able to show my own 6 year old daughter where I went to school.

Hello, everyone at Balfour! We live in the USA but our nephew attends Balfour Infant School. We really enjoy your colourful, informative website. It's a great way to keep up to date with all the interesting things he is learning in school. Our nephew had a very enjoyable year in Nightingales last year, and he is now in Linnets which he also loves. It's been lovely to see pictures of him and his classmates, participating in the various activities. We visited the school recently, while on holiday, and got a real feel for the school and the teachers. We were very impressed with the friendly atmosphere, the lovely surroundings and the efficiency with which the school is run. We are very hapy that our nephew is growing and learning in such a positive, caring environment. Keep up the good work on the website and thank you for providing this facility for us!

I think the website looks brilliant! I loved being able to see what has been going on in Swans class. Tom and I think the only improvement you could make would be to add a games/puzzle type section
| Behrous | 22 October 2006 00:00:00 |

| Vicki | 30 January 2006 00:00:00 |
I think that the website is really good and is evolving too, which is wonderful: one suggestion is that you have a 'parents' section, and include adverts for / links to parents own businesses: I don't have my own business but I know that I would prefer to use a supplier who was 'in the Balfour community' if I had the chance - for anything from home repairs to holidays. This would act as an extension of the 'classifieds' area on the school newsletter, but could include any type of business, not just those which would necessarily lend themselves to a classified ad, and could be broken down by category. The 'advertiser' could write a small bit about themselves/their business, and the link could be part of this. I wonder if other parents think that this would be a good idea?

Fantastic school!!! Best infant school in Brighton in my opinion. Many years ago this used to be my school. Now I am in year 10 starting my GCSEs and I have many fond memories of the place. Also It enabled me to achieve the grades I have. Year 9 SATS - English 6, Science 7 (highest in my year), Maths 8 (again highest in my year); the average levels for all these is 5. I am now predicted all A's and A*'s at GCSE. I am certain I would not have achieved these had it not been for Balfour Infant and Balfour Junior. If you are a parent of a child in this school I can not stress just how lucky you are to be able to give your child this opportunity.
| Alan Deacon | 03 November 2005 00:00:00 |

Fantastic website. Liked the pictues of the children on the home page. Well done everyone! Had problems getting onto the site initially. had to use a different search engine. Maybe we read it incorrectly, but is the website address different to the information that was given to the children at the launch of the new website. Could not find the full school year diary of inset days and holidays. It only seems to go up to December.
